McKenzie Kibler’s career in government has spanned a variety of roles across multiple levels of government, starting back in 2006 as a page in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Since then, he has interned for the Government of Canada at the departments of Environment and Finance while pursuing his BA in Political Science at McGill University. While studying at McGill, he served as the President and Executive Director of the Conservative Association at McGill, the largest Conservative Party campus group in Montreal and Quebec.

Kibler went on to pursue a Master of Public Policy at the University of Saskatchewan before ultimately working in various communications roles at the Government of Saskatchewan (he did not complete his academic program). These roles include Manager of Digital Media for the Executive Council and Office of the Premier.

Starting in 2020, Kibler served as Press Secretary to Alberta’s Minister of Transportation and Minister of Municipal Affairs, followed by Issues Manager to the Minister of Health. In 2022 he was promoted to Chief of Staff to the Minister of Advanced Education, and since September 2023 has served as the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Status of Women.
