Andrew Boitchenko was elected as Member of the Legislative Assembly for Drayton Valley-Devon in the 2023 general election. He was appointed the Parliamentary Secretary for Indigenous Relations on July 13, 2023.

Boitchenko ran to be the UCP candidate for the Drayton Valley-Devon constituency back in 2019 but lost the nomination to Mark Smith. Prior to his entry into politics, Boitchenko was a real estate agent with over two decades of experience.    He owns several property development companies and has served on several boards including, the Drayton Valley-Devon constituency board of directors, Central Alberta UCP board of directors, Devon Chamber of Commerce, and Alberta Ukraine Chamber of Commerce.  He is a current member of the Advisory Council on Alberta-Ukraine Relations.

Andrew Boitchenko resides north of Devon with his wife, Tatiana, and his three children.
