Morgan Cameron has worked almost entirely for federal or provincial governments since 2013. While pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University, Morgan worked at the House of Commons as a Member’s Assistant to the Official Opposition Critic for Canadian Heritage and National Historic sites, a Special Assistant to the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, and in the House of Commons Page Program.

Following receiving her bachelor’s degree in 2017, Morgan pursued an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford, graduating in 2018. Following a seven-month term in Tanzania as a Gender Equality Officer with the Mwanza Regional Vocational Training and Service Centre, Morgan joined the Legislative Assembly of Alberta as a Communications Officer in 2020. Between 2020 and 2023, Morgan held various roles within the government or Legislative Assembly, including Special Advisor to the Ministers of Finance and the Minister of Environment & Parks, ministerial assistant, and communications assistant.

Before becoming Chief of Staff in July, Morgan served as the Senior Policy Advisor to Minister Nixon.
