Key Influencer - Sherri Wilson - Deputy Minister of Environment and Protected Areas

Appointed to Deputy Minister, Environment and Protected Areas in January 2024, Sherri Wilson brings with her over two decades of experience in public service. She has served as the Deputy Minister for Advanced Education and for Children’s Services, as well as serving in executive roles in the ministries of Health, Treasury Board and Finance, and (formerly) Human Services.

During the immediate response to the pandemic, from March to May 2020, she served as the Incident Commander of the Health Emergency Operations Centre. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion from Dalhousie University.
