Key Influencer: Nicole Williams – Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health
Currently serving as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health, Adriana LaGrange, Nicole Williams is one of the most experienced and driven staffers in the Legislature today. She previously served as Chief of Staff to Minister LaGrange in Education and has held numerous other ministerial staff positions, in addition to private sector government relations roles. With her wealth of experience, Nicole brings a seasoned perspective to the significant endeavors now underway in Health.
Nicole has long been involved in Alberta’s political scene and ran for the UCP for Edmonton-West Henday in the 2019 election. Though she was narrowly defeated by the NDP candidate, it was the closest race in Edmonton and one of the closest in the province with a 2.7% margin. Nicole is a proud member of Alberta’s Metis community and a devoted Rotarian, wife, and mother of two. While she grew up in Whitecourt, she has called Edmonton home since moving to the city to attend the University of Alberta, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Political Science. In addition to her political pursuits and community work, Nicole is an avid long distance runner, completing numerous marathons, including the Boston Marathon.
