Key Influencer - Vitor Marciano

Vitor Marciano is a political and communications strategist who has been involved in conservative politics for decades. Marciano is currently working behind the scenes as campaign manager for UCP leadership candidate, Brian Jean. He previously worked with both Jean and, earlier, Danielle Smith in the role of Senior Advisor and Press Secretary to the Leader of the Wildrose Official Opposition. Marciano was instrumental in the Wildrose comeback campaign that followed the 2014 mass floor-crossing to the Progressive Conservative government.

Prior to Marciano’s work with the Alberta Wildrose, he volunteered with the Conservative Party of Canada. Between 2006 and 2008, he served as Chair of the National Policy Committee, and between 2008 and 2010, he was Secretary of the National Council.

Marciano holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, specializing in Industrial Relations, from the University of Alberta. He was the executive director of the Automotive Service and Repair Association of Alberta for over 8 years.
